2025 seems sure to be an exciting year for the application of Artificital Intelligence (AI). It seems to be moving very fast now. If we take a longer view of how we have been implementing technology it is moving VERY fast now. Of course, the advance of tools and technology has a long history. If we consider that mankind made basic tools from stones around 2.6 million years ago. Technology advancements campe slowlyfor example to make fire (about 300,000 years ago), rope (about 20,000 years ago).

The development of AI tools has followed a similar accelerating curve of devopment. It feels like everything is happening everywhere all at once.
Prolog developed used for logic programming and AI applications. In 1979 The Stanford Cart successfully navigated a room full of obstacles, a precursor to autonomous vehicles.

The table above demonstrates that technology is moving faster and faster all the time. Many people have been expressing great concern that AI is moving so fast now that it is going to pass us. That the AI we create in the coming years will be frustrated with humans because we are so slow!
